Within the first few months of the baby's life you are so busy that you cannot possibly even think of what activities your baby might enjoy outside the house. Really all that baby can think of is "Sleep... Eat... Poop...Repeat". But eventually you will start to go stir crazy and just getting out to the grocery store won't cut it anymore.
There are some fun and educational activities that you can involve your child in that will not only nurture the baby's mind but create a bond between you as well.
It has been proven that music helps aid development. Even plants that are exposed to classical music grow faster and more healthy then plants that are not. We recommend involving your child in a baby intro to music club where they can listen, play and interact with other children.
Another great idea for getting out of the house would be to check your local library. A lot of times the library will have a play room for children. This will allow your child to build some early relationship skills. Also, the toys there generally offer some kind of educational benefit to then as well.
Generally, libraries also offer classes for babies to attend. The library class teacher will sing and read to you and your children. There will be other fun activities to involve yourself in library class.
When your baby is old enough, you can take them to swimming class. Start them young enough and they won't be afraid of the water when they get older. It is important to teach your baby to swim, and it can be a bonding experience as well.
Or just go to the park and watch them run, crawl and play. That never gets old.
