Feeding Your Baby
Breastfeeding or bottle feeding your baby is a decision that you will have to make.  This may or may not be a hard decision, depending on your feelings toward breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is the recommended way to feed your newborn baby.  It has been proven to help protect against infection and the development of allergies. It is also important to take note that it is free.  If you are concerned about spending money on a breast pump, don't.  The cost of the breast pump will be outweighed by the savings from avoiding formula.  This is not to be said that formula feeding your baby should be avoided entirely.

If you do choose to breastfeed, you will need to keep a supply of formula on hand for the dry seasons.  You don't want to be a 24 hour milk machine.  A little formula won't hurt your baby, and may even help to fatten them up a bit.

If you decide to formula feed your baby, then only the best formula will do.  You can choose to buy organic formula, or regular formula.  Whatever formula you decide to buy, know that your baby will be well nurished.  It just won't have the anti-bodies that breastmilk has.  You will also be missing out on a bonding experience between you and your baby.
